About the role
Direct Entry Captain positions for B737 operations based out of Miami (MIA), Youngstown (YNG), or Killeen (GRK).
Minimum requirements
- 7,000 hours total flying time (only time in operating seat of turboprop/turbojet aircraft counts)
- 2,000 hours PIC time on multi-crew, multi-engine, commercial aircraft
- 1,000 hours Part 121 operations flight time
- Valid FAA ATP certificate
- Valid FAA First Class Medical
- Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- English proficiency consistent with ICAO Level 4 endorsement
- Valid US driver's license
- Valid passport allowing worldwide travel
- Authorization to work in United States (US passport or green card)
- Must meet FAR 121.436 requirements for Direct Entry Captain
Other requirements
- Must live within 2 hours of Miami International Airport (MIA), Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport (YNG), or Killeen Regional Airport (GRK)
- Pass drug and alcohol background checks, pre-employment DOT drug test, and criminal history records check
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Work schedule assigned by seniority (days, swings, midnight shifts, holidays)
- Travel required
