About the role
Experienced First Officer position flying Embraer 175 aircraft based in Boise with Horizon Air.
Minimum requirements
- 200 hours of FAA-approved Prior Qualifying Time to serve as pilot in command in part 121 operations (per FAR 121.436(a)(3))
- 200 hours as second in command at a part 121 carrier; or 200 hours as pilot in command at a part 91 carrier flying multi-engine turbine aircraft with ATPL and type rating; or 200 hours PIC at part 135 carrier in turbojet operations; or 200 hours PIC at part 135 carrier in multiengine commuter operations; or 200 hours PIC at part 135 carrier with ATPL; or 200 hours military flight time as PIC of multiengine turbine aircraft
- Minimum 1,465 hours total flight time or R-ATP qualified
- 500 hours cross-country flight time or 200 if R-ATP or military qualified
- 100 hours night flight time
- 250 total hours as pilot in command including 100 hours cross-country and 25 hours night time
- 75 hours instrument flight time in actual or simulated conditions
- 25 hours multi-engine flight time
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings
- Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate
- FCC permit restricted radiotelephone operator
- Valid passport allowing unrestricted travel to and from the U.S.
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum age 21 years old
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be willing to accept base assignment in Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Spokane, WA; Boise, ID; Medford, OR; Anchorage, AK or Everett, WA
- Must be willing to work multiple days away from home with varied schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate in English
- High school diploma or equivalent
Other requirements
Preferred qualifications:
- 100 hours multi-engine flight time
- 100 hours flown in the last 12 months
- Four-year degree from accredited university
