About the role First Officer position flying DC9/MD80 aircraft based in Laredo, Texas. Minimum requirements - High school diploma or GED (post-secondary education preferred) - FAA Multi-Engine ATP Certificate or ATP-R or Commercial Certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings (CMEL-I) - 750 hours flight time if graduate of US military flight training program OR 1000 hours with certificate from qualifying four-year aviation institution OR 1250 hours with certificate from qualifying 2-year aviation institution OR 1500 hours if no other requirement is met - Must meet all ATP-R license requirements with minimum 25 hours multi-engine time - Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate - FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit - Valid and current passport - Fluent in English - Eligible to work in US without visa sponsorship - Ability to travel without restriction in and out of US - Complete training, checking, and qualification requirements per USA Jet approved manuals - Pass initial and random drug and alcohol screening per FAA requirements - Pass fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check and/or Security Threat Assessment per TSA requirements
