About this role

To be considered for the role of Captain, you must meet either Criteria A or Criteria B, in addition to the General Eligibility criteria below. Criteria A - Minimum 7,000 hours total flying time - Minimum 2,500 PIC hours on jet multi crew new generation aircraft/EFIS, of which 2,000 hours should be on wide body aircraft above 140 tons - Minimum 1,500 PIC hours on any Airbus Wide Body FBW or Boeing Wide body aircraft Criteria B - Minimum 7,000 hours total flying time - Minimum 3,000 PIC hours on jet multi crew new generation aircraft/EFIS, of which 2,500 hours should be on wide body aircraft above 140 tons General Eligibility - Flown any Airbus Wide Body FBW or Boeing Wide body aircraft within the last 12 months - Type rating on any Airbus Wide Body FBW or Boeing Wide body aircraft valid for at least 2 more months at the time of joining - Unrestricted ATPL and current ICAO ATPL - Unrestricted, current Class 1 medical - Must not have attained the age of 59 on the day of joining - English language fluency (written and verbal) - ICAO Level 4 or better Additional Information Etihad Airways is more than the UAE’s national airline - we’re shaping the future of global aviation.
