TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Recncy platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Recncy is a platform designed for pilots to build professional profiles, track flight recency, analyze logbook data, and generate career documents such as CVs and resumes. The Service is available via the web at recncy.com and associated subdomains.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

4.1 Free & Paid Plans

Recncy offers a free tier with limited features and paid subscription plans with additional capabilities. Feature availability for each plan is described on our pricing page and may change over time.

4.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select). All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle.

4.3 Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are provided at our sole discretion.

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload or enter into Recncy, including profile information, flight records, logbook data, and any other personal or professional data ("User Content").

5.2 License to Recncy

By submitting User Content, you grant Recncy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

5.3 Public Profiles

If you create a public profile, the information you choose to display will be accessible to anyone with your profile link. You are solely responsible for the information you make publicly available.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information (including fabricated flight hours or certifications).
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without our written consent.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without authorization.

7. Intellectual Property

The Recncy name, logo, website design, and all associated software, features, and documentation are the intellectual property of Recncy and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recncy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Recncy in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Recncy and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) shall survive.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
